A Day at the Park

My name is Alex. I am ten years old. Today is Saturday. I like Saturdays because I can go to the park.

In the morning, I eat breakfast with my family. I eat toast and drink juice. My mom says, "Have a good day, Alex!"

I go to the park with my friend, Sam. The park is big and green. There are many trees and flowers. We see birds in the sky. The birds are singing.

Sam and I play soccer. I kick the ball, and Sam runs. Sometimes, Sam kicks the ball, and I run. We laugh and have fun.

After soccer, we sit on a bench. We eat sandwiches and drink water. A dog comes to us. The dog is brown and friendly. We pet the dog.

In the afternoon, we go home. I am tired but happy. I tell my mom about my day. She smiles and says, "That sounds fun, Alex!"
